What is counselling?

Counselling is a talking therapy that involves a trained therapist listening to you and helping you find ways to deal with emotional issues.

I believe that we all have our own answers inside us and my function as a counsellor is to create a safe environment of empathy, trust and acceptance to support you finding yours. I will work with you as an equal to explore your feelings, emotions, fears and experiences to help you gain a deeper understanding of yourself to help bring about the long-lasting change and/or understanding that you are seeking.
